9/11: I knew the towers would collapse

On September 11th, Havilande Whitcomb was at Starbucks received a call from her sister, who told her that one of the two World Trade Towers was hit. Her first thought was: ‘this is an act of war.’ Because of her knowledge of architecture, she knew that the steel would melt and the towers would collapse, and she watched in horror as the tragedy unfolded.
