When “taking the field” meant something else

 
Lawyer Riccardo La Cognata argues that Silvio Berlusconi’s main political tools–money, media power, and charisma–were liabilities as well as assets. He also points out that the phrase Berlusconi used endlessly in his campaign, to “take the field,” has another meaning in a Roberto Benigni film.
