Rise of cities has brought class struggle

Peter Cohen, an activist with the Council of Community Housing Organizations, says that the reurbanization of America has brought class struggle to cities like San Francisco, where urban areas with limited space have seen a tidal wave of new residents. Affluent new arrivals bring with them class privileges, and he believes that many don’t engage in the “social problem solving” required to make sure everyone is accounted for.
