Evictions at the International Hotel: 1968-1977

 
Karen Snelson remembers resisting the evictions of tenants of the historic International Hotel, a low-rent hotel in the ‘Manilatown’ area of San Francisco’s Chinatown, a process that took nearly a decade between the first eviction notices in 1968 and the evictions of the last working class tenants in 1977.
