Discovering that my neighbors were war criminals on the run

 

Camille Whitcomb talks about moving into a new neighborhood in the suburbs of São Paulo 10 years after the end of WWII, only to discover that most of her neighbors were former Nazi officers, some of which continued to use their officer’s coats in public.  One former pilot took tourists for tours over the city in his seaplane.
