We’d get the picture from CBS and audio from NBC

Bill Moll remembers that in his hometown of Sikeston, Missouri, during bad weather television viewers could expect a strange mixture of video from one station and audio from another. In 1954 a local station arrived and became enormously popular, and Moll worked long hours to break into the world of television broadcasting.
