Tell History’s checkout system allows customers to make payments through various forms of electronic payment. Vendors receive payment through their registered PayPal account.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Accepting These Terms
This document (the Tell History Checkout Policy or the “Policy,” for short) sets out your rights and responsibilities when you make payments through Tell History services (“Services”). By using Tell History’s online payment system, you are agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Service. The Policy is a legally binding contract between you and Tell History.
Our payment system allows vendors to receive payment via PayPal from customers, who may pay with several electronic payment options.
Vendors must be 18 years or older to use our checkout system. They may only use it to receive payment for services publicly listed on the Tell History website. They agree to execute their services as agreed in listings.
Customers may authorize a payment with credit cards accepted by Tell History or with PayPal.
3. Third-Party Services
Tell History has engaged third-party service providers to perform many of the services related to payment processing, including card processing, currency exchange, identity verification, fraud analysis and regulatory compliance.
Tell History partners with PayPal to facilitate card payments and other payments by buyers and to disburse funds to sellers. PayPal entities are regulated and authorized to provide payment services in the countries where they operate.
Tell History may share your personal or transactional information with those third-party service providers when it’s necessary to process payments.
By using a third-party service, you may also be subject to an agreement with the third-party. For example, PayPal is a third-party service provided by PayPal Holdings, Inc. and is subject to the PayPal User Agreement.
If Tell History receives notice that a listing or transaction violates a third party’s service agreement, we may have to take action against your account, such as canceling a transaction, removing listings from your shop, or suspending your selling privileges.
4. Tell History’s Rights and Responsibilities
Tell History may refuse use of its payment services to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
Tell History reserves the right to decline transactions that we believe to be high risk, fraudulent, or in violation of its Terms of Service.
Tell History is not responsible for stolen or fraudulent payments.
5. Vendor Rights and Responsibilities
Vendors must provide accurate personal information as requested during registration, and are responsible for maintaining and updating that information as necessary. Vendors will not impersonate any person or use a name he or she is not legally authorized to use.
Vendors agree to resolve any disputes directly with a customer or with the assistance of the dispute management and refund tools available on Tell History, and in accordance with our Vendor Policy and Terms of Service.
