We were told not to use cellphones during the 9/11 attacks

 
Vikrant Bhatia was leaving his acting class at George Mason University when he turned on the radio and heard the news about the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks. He recalls people were advised not to use their cell phones so that emergency workers could respond to the scene at the Pentagon and in New York City.
