The “Second Republic” is more corrupt than the First

 

Academic Pietro Neglie explains what he considers is the fundamental misunderstanding about 1990s Italy: the “Second Republic” that began in 1992 became more corrupt, in many respects, than the “First Republic” despite efforts to cleanse the political system.
